Since 1988, more than 380,000 TNT participants have raised more than $900 million for lifesaving cancer research and services to help blood cancer patients live longer, better lives. Now, they're aiming for the $1 billion mark and STOP, SWAP AND SAVE wants to help make it happen! As the largest endurance sports training program in the world, TNT provides athletes of all levels with the experience of a lifetime, including: coaching and training, travel to a triathlon, century, major marathon or half marathon in exciting locations, the opportunity to make their athletic goals a reality and a connection with an honored patient so they know just who and what they're doing it all for. In exchange for training and support, athletes help raise money towards cures for blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Use the links below to contact your local TNT chapter for complete information on how you can be a part of this awesome program. Don't forget that when you make a donation to TNT at the SWAP or when you register for a vendor space, we'll match it dollar-for-dollar. Stop by the TNT booths at our events too!

Once again, we're proud to be partnering with the American Red Cross to help save lives. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day and you can help fill that need. Please join the 9.5 million people each year in the U.S. that dontate blood by becoming a donor at this year's MD SWAP. In lessthan an hour you can save up to three lives. Bikes For The World is a sponsored project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association. Their central mission is to collect unwanted bicycles and related material in the United States and deliver it at low cost to community development programs assisting the poor in developing countries. These bicycles provide affordable transport to individuals for use in getting to work and school, or to provide health and education services to low-income rural people. As much as possible, Bikes For The World uses the donated bicycles to help set up self-sustaining bicycle repair operations which can make enough money to pay the shipping costs for subsequent container shipments of donated bicycles. We strongly support Bikes For The World's efforts and hope that you will too, by donating a functional used bicycle, spare bicycle parts or by making a monetary pledge at this year's STOP, SWAP AND SAVE in Maryland. Visit www.bikesfortheworld.org for more info.

Within one year of its 1974 founding Virginia Blood Services (VBS) took Richmond from a haphazard system of paid and volunteer blood sources to an all volunteer blood supply. Now VBS is one of the largest volunteer efforts in central Virginia and last year nearly 70,000 volunteers donated blood with VBS. VBS needs your help to supply hospitals in Richmond and surrounding areas. Please sign up to be a donor at this year's Chesterfield, VA SWAP. Someone's life depends on you!
